Delete your Kitchen Mix account

Kitchen Mix users can delete their account and associated data directly from the website or Android app. If you no longer have access to the app or your account, this page also lets you initiate a deletion request with support.

1. Delete your account directly in Kitchen Mix

If you can still sign in, use the built-in deletion process:

  • On the website: open Settings, go to “Account deletion”, and select “Delete my account”.
  • On Android: open Settings, then select “Delete my account”.

2. Request deletion without access to the app

If you can no longer access Kitchen Mix, send a request to support using the button below. You do not need to reinstall the app.

Request deletion of my account

In your request, provide only:

  • the email address associated with your Kitchen Mix account;
  • confirmation that you want your account permanently deleted.

Never send us your password.

To protect your account, Kitchen Mix may ask you to confirm that you control the relevant email address before processing the request.

3. Data deleted, anonymized, or retained

Deleted data

The deletion mechanism removes the Supabase authentication account and public profile. Private data directly linked to the account that does not need to be retained is no longer accessible through that account.

Anonymized data

Comments are unlinked from the account: the author is removed and the content is replaced with “[Compte supprimé]” to preserve discussion consistency.

Data that may be retained

Published recipes may be retained without an identifiable author to preserve Service consistency. Some information may also be retained for the period required by applicable legal, accounting, security, or fraud-prevention obligations.

4. Active subscriptions

Deleting your Kitchen Mix account does not necessarily cancel a subscription managed by an external service. If you have an active subscription, cancel it with the service used for the purchase before deleting your account.

  • Android subscription: manage or cancel it through Google Play.
  • Web subscription: while signed in, open the Kitchen Mix Premium page and use the Stripe billing portal provided to manage or cancel the subscription.
